Get ready to pop some champagne, film buffs, because we’re about to take you on a whirlwind tour of the fabulous world of Mini Nation Pictures. This talented troupe of international all-stars has come together under the tutelage of the trailblazing Michelle Ng to form a filmmaking family like no other. In an industry notorious for chewing up and spitting out its workers, this extraordinary ensemble is a shining beacon of support, diversity, and unbreakable bonds.
The origins of Mini Nation Pictures are the stuff of Hollywood legend: a passion project, a call for volunteers, and a serendipitous meeting of minds from all corners of the globe. What began as a humble dream quickly blossomed into a force to be reckoned with, as Michelle Ng took these eager young filmmakers under her wing and nurtured their talents.
Fast forward to the present, and Mini Nation Pictures is leaving an indelible mark on the film industry, with a slew of captivating productions to their name. From the edge-of-your-seat thrills of “Maneater” to the heartwarming holiday tale of “Aisle Be Home For Christmas,” this creative collective has proven there’s no film too difficult for them to produce.
But what truly sets Mini Nation Pictures apart is their unwavering commitment to recognizing and celebrating the contributions of every single crew member. In a world where above-the-liners often hog the spotlight, Michelle Ng is determined to ensure that everyone on her team gets the credit they deserve.
Michelle Ng, a producer extraordinaire, began her journey by inviting international volunteers to join her passion project. This led her to discover a treasure trove of aspiring filmmakers, all eager to make their mark in the industry. These driven individuals soon formed the backbone of Mini Nation Pictures.
Paula Iglesias, the Spanish sensation, stepped onto the scene as a volunteer Production Assistant for Michelle’s passion project. With experience in costume departments for Netflix hits like “Cable Girls,” “High Seas,” and “Morocco: Times of War,” this Granada-born gal has quickly risen through the ranks. Today, she’s an indispensable Production Manager and a living testament to Michelle’s mentorship prowess.
Inés Kayali, the Madrid marvel, joined forces with her best friend Paula on the passion project, also as a Production Assistant. After working her documentary magic with Trex Exploring, Inés found her calling in film production. Like Paula, she’s now a Production Manager, and together, they’re the dynamic duo that keep Mini Nation Pictures’ sets running like a well-oiled machine.
Nicola Varoli, the Honduran hotshot, has the Midas touch when it comes to film production. With a never-say-no attitude, he’s dabbled in various departments and emerged as an Assistant Camera extraordinaire. Currently training as a Production Coordinator, Nico has his sights set on the director’s chair, and we have no doubt he’ll take Hollywood by storm.
Tatsuya Ueno, our Japanese gem, has built a reputation for his unmatched Steadicam skills. Respectful and hardworking, Tatsuya’s work is in high demand, but he always makes time for his Mini Nation family. With a burning desire to direct a fantasy feature one day, we’re on the edge of our seats waiting to see what this wonder-worker will conjure up next.
But wait, there’s more! The international smorgasbord of talent continues with Madina Ismailova, an extreme talent hailing from Kyrgyzstan. Then there’s Irene Puente, the Spanish siren with an eye for detail, and our homegrown heroes, Brandon Wilson and Gareth Marsh, who bring their American flair to the mix.
Together, this eclectic ensemble has been the driving force behind Mini Nation Pictures’ impressive lineup of films, such as “A Tale of Two Guns,” “Maneater,” “The Most Dangerous Game,” “Lord of the Streets,” “Swim,” “Time Pirates,” “Super Volcano,” “20.0 Megaquake,” “Ice Storm,” and “Aisle Be Home For Christmas.”
As the world awaits the release of their upcoming projects, including the much-anticipated “Attack of the Meth Gator” and the horror/thriller “Dante’s Hotel,” one thing is certain: Mini Nation Pictures is a family bound by their love for filmmaking and their unwavering support for one another. In an industry where it’s often every person for themselves, this dream team is a shining example of what true collaboration and camaraderie can achieve.
