Josi: Oh man, it goes way back. Picture this – I’m four years old, standing in Juan Luis Guerra’s children’s choir. Got this candle in my hand, singing “Ojala Que Llueva Cafe del Campo” in front of a packed house. That moment? It was like lightning struck. I just knew.
That’s quite a start! How would you describe your sound now?

Josi: (grinning) Glad you like it! “Una Noche Mas” captures that intense longing for one more night with someone special, blending passion with uncertainty. Movie Warriors did an amazing job bringing these emotions to life in the music video.
And your new single, “PDR” – what inspired that one?
Josi: “PDR” is about being totally caught up in someone. You try to walk away, but you keep coming back. It’s that magnetic pull, you know? I really dug deep for that one.
I noticed “Luna y Mar” has a different feel. What’s the backstory?
Josi: (smiling) ‘Luna y Mar’ is really meaningful to me. It’s a love song with ocean vibes, and I embedded a little piece of my heart in the last 10 seconds. I just hope everyone can feel the love I put into it.
