A self-taught soprano singer with a degree in Arts and Science, she colors her music with elements from diverse genres, from classical and pop to rock, tailoring a distinctive sound that directly communicates with listeners on an emotional level. With dedication and perseverance, she has carved a path in the music industry that reflects her commitment to creating expressive melodies and her desire to inspire and excite music lovers worldwide.
Ms. Zarzu’s love for music has found her honing her skills at the School of Music in Sacramento, California. Her linguistic prowess effortlessly flows into her music as she performs without hindrance in five languages, despite only being fluent in two and semi-fluent in German.
From an early age, Ms. Zarzu began to shape her presence on stage, performing solo and acting in school plays. Her reach extends beyond local theaters and church communities, having performed in Vienna, Austria. Furthermore, she has lent her talent to underprivileged and special needs children, illustrating her devotion to sharing the joy of music.
Her musical prowess has garnered attention on the competition scene too. In 2021, she clinched the First (Classical Repertoire) of the American Protege International Vocal Competition. She went on to acquire the Recognition Award in 2022, featuring a sponsorship from the iClassical Academy, courtesy of Sound Espressivo’s partnership.
Audiences have also enjoyed her breathtaking performance at the 2022 annual Enchant Christmas Sacramento production, the world’s largest illuminated winter wonderland. She graced Andrea Bocelli’s concert in the 2022-2023 season and joined the Sacramento Philharmonic Opera and Chorus for “Opera! La Boheme” by Giacomo Puccini. In the same year, she also delighted audiences with her first recital at the Laureate Gala at Carnegie Hall, New York.
Adriana’s prolific career has seen her release popular songs both on Instagram and YouTube, such as “IL Mia Core Va/My heart will go on,” “Favola Breve,” “Ave Maria,” “Love like this,” and “Nella Fantasia,” which are also available for streaming on Spotify.
Her aspirations reveal an ambitious artist ready to shake the world’s music stage with collaborations, hoping to work with legendary artists like Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli and perform with Andre Rieu and his orchestra.
